Funeral Ceremonies
The death of a loved one is always a time of sadness and shock for family and friends.
As a civil celebrant, I will provide support and sensitivity as I work with you in carefully planning a personalised ceremony that honours the life of the unique and special person you have just lost. On the day I will ensure that it proceeds with dignity and with as little anxiety as possible.
The flexibility of a civil funeral service gives you the option of including features that reflect significant family history, traditions and culture and religious or non-religious beliefs of the deceased, family and friends.
I will meet with you in your home and provide resources such as readings and poems and examples of eulogies to assist us in composing the ceremony, however, you may choose to use your own resources and add as many meaningful touches as you wish.
Family and friends are encouraged to take part in the ceremony by sharing cherished memories and appropriate life stories. It is also fitting to include special features such as your loved one’s favourite music and a photographic presentation. This day should be an appropriate farewell and celebration of the life of your loved one.
I will provide unlimited assistance throughout the process to ensure the funeral ceremony and eulogy are meaningful and prepared according to the wishes of the family.
